Former Arsenal footballer Jack Wilshere has earned a significant amount of money in his playing career. The English player is worth way above £48 million. The 30-year-old was one of the hottest prospects during his youth career at Arsenal.

Wilshere is currently without a club has not played a competitive match since May last year. He left Bournemouth a month later. The ex-England international has been training with Arsenal for over three months as he maintains his fitness and sharpness.

Jack Wilshere was born on New Year’s Day, 1992 in Stevenage. He joined Arsenal’s academy in 2001 after leaving the Luton Town academy at the age of nine. Over the next seven years he played his way up through the club structure, captaining the under 16s, and making frequent appearances for the under-18s before he turned 16.

Former Arsenal and England midfielder Jack Wilshere says he has thought about retirement even though he '100%' believes he can keep on playing. Wilshere has been without a club since being released by Bournemouth in May. The 29-year-old is back at Arsenal mixing training with the first-team and Under-23 squad with some coaching.
